Amélie have recently rebranded and moved into their new premises, twice the size, at 22 Halkett Street.
Amélie is more than just a homeware store - it’s a lifestyle destination for those who crave bright, bold and joyful living. "We believe that your home should be a reflection of your personality, and our carefully curated collection of homewares reflects this philosophy."
From hand printed velvet cushions to quirky vases, they source only the most vibrant and joyful pieces that will add a pop of colour to your home.
Michelle O'Connell, founder, explained that the concept behind Amélie Joyful Living is a manifestation of her love of art, culture and design. "I have travelled widely, and on my return have always longed to fill my home with many of the beautiful influences I have seen and experienced, to extend that feeling of joy and vibrancy that the colours and textures of the places I have experienced have given me. I am proud of Amélie Joyful Living and how it has grown over the past 9 years, and grateful for the support and encouragement that my many customers have given."
You'll find all the usual brands you have come to love at Amélie, and Michelle has not only expanded on these but there are so many new and exciting gifts and home accessories, including Quail Ceramics - a British ceramics brand with a long-standing tradition of producing quirky and fun products. Ortigia Home Fragrance is an Italian soap and fragrance company specialising in luxury candles and perfumes with natural ingredients and olive oil of Sicily. Add some retro and nostalgic art to your walls, with Fanclub Framed Art Prints, inspired by 1960s and 1970s muses, movements and music, and you will find yourself spoilt for choice.
