We are excited to announce the latest news about our development of the facial aesthetic side, along with aspects of medical dermatology procedures. We have a long-established dermatology clinic run by Dr Ian Whitcroft, a well-known dermatologist in Jersey.

He undertook his undergraduate Medical School training at Liverpool Medical School, and later on he emigrated to the USA, where he further trained in Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery and earned his diploma from the American Board of Dermatology.

We are happy to inform you that we have expanded our team, and Chloe Taylor will be joining us and bringing some exciting additions to our dermatology clinic. Now, Chloe is furthering her academic pursuits by completing a Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.

Aesthetic Lido Dermatology will complement Chloe’s provided treatments with a full range of skin treatments and a skincare range, ZO Skin Health by Dr Zein Obagi.

We are also proud to introduce the latest technology available, digital skin analysis.

Smart Skin Analysis

A skin analysis is an essential step in helping to determine what type of skin you have and what products or procedures will be best for you. We all have different skin types, and it is essential to understand what type of skin you have in order to best care for your body. By understanding the skin type, you can also better protect the skin from the sun’s harmful UV, UVA, and UVB rays and other environmental hazards.

With upgraded technology, we can now perform an analysis that allows us to look under the skin to determine its health. The skin analyser captures multispectral photos of the face and examines the complexion of pores, spots, pigmentation, moisture, fine lines, wrinkles, texture, porphyrins, and UV spots.

The skin analyser has an 18 million-pixel camera with ordinary, polarised, and UV light. It also has three kinds of optical imaging, 3D topography technology, infrared image perspective, and UV photography technology that can detect facial skin colour, density, number of pores, wrinkles, acne, and pigmentation. Finally, it will show you the ageing process and how your skin will look in a few years.

Regular analysis allows you to compare the results and see the efficacy of the professional treatments or skincare routine, allowing you to make any necessary changes for a better outcome. We use the results to give personalised skin care recommendations to improve skin's health and complexion.
